Ahmad Rayyan Thaqif's motorsport journey began when his father, an avid motorsport fan, bought him his first red pocketbike. What started as a small hobby evolved into a passion and talent, with Rayyan being drawn to the thrill of speed and racing alongside other riders. His entire family has played crucial roles in his development as a racer - his father handles the training and takes him to races, while his mother and younger sister serve as his committed cheerleaders, never missing a race and motivating him to do his best. Now 10 years old, Rayyan has participated in numerous competitions including the Petronas Mini Cub Prix (PocketBike) and Malaysia MiniBike Academy Race. For him, 2024 was a standout year as his parents allowed him to take more ownership of his racing, resulting in his best performances yet. Rayyan particularly enjoys tracks with tactical corners that challenge him to become smoother and smarter. Looking forward to 2025, he has been selected for the SIC Ohvale Championship 110cc and aims to finish among the Top 5 best riders. Beyond the results, Rayyan values the entire racing experience and has learned from his mother to celebrate his effort even when he doesn't win, understanding that God has given him his best at that point in time.
